If you are quiet and listen with your heart, you can hear the sounds of the rain change as cracks in the pavement fill, as divots in the grass become puddles, as the flower beds turn to mud. You can hear the way the rain changes things. I used to think the rain was sad until one day I listened to it for a very long time and realized it was just like love. Things become full, sounds become deeper and sometimes, you will hear a bird.”
